What methods of payment do you accept?
Credit Cards: We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express (AMEX) and Discover. For orders less than $1500 credit card payments are not charged until your order is ready to ship. For orders over $1500 a 50% deposit is charged when production begins.
Paypal: Paypal payments are accepted at the time of the order.
Money Orders and Certified Checks: Orders are not be processed until payment is received.
Personal Checks: We require 5-9 business days for personal checks before we will process your order.
Why are your draperies so inexpensive?
Our prices are designer direct, wholesale pricing that, until now, were only available to trade insiders. We are now pleased to offer the home shopper the same pricing and service as a professional interior designer. Our goods are first quality (not seconds, leftovers or factory overstocks) and are custom made right here in our Bucks County, PA workshop.
Do you price-match?
No, we cannot price-match against other sites as most have their panels out-sourced and made in India or China. Further, many other sites that offer draperies are only offering a few off-the-shelf sizes. We make each panel to order right here in the USA. Also be sure that the fabric and lining quality is comparable - some sites are using very low quality materials. Just because it’s silk doesn’t mean it’s going to be nice silk!
How are orders shipped?
We ship via UPS Ground for all panels orders within the contiguous 48 states. Shipping upgrades are available upon request. See our UPS Transit Time Chart for transit times.
Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska rates are quoted on an individual basis.
Fabrics by the yard may be shipped by any UPS service or the USPS - your choice.
Panels are neatly folded, wrapped in plastic, and boxed just prior to shipping. To avoid wrinkling, unpack your panels as soon as you can and lay them out as flat as possible.
How long does it take?

Do you ship outside the USA?
Yes. Shipping outside the USA, including Canada, is via the US Postal Service International Priority Mail. Shipping rates are quoted on an individual basis. Insurance is required.
CANADA: Thanks to NAFTA, there are no duties to pay! PST and/or GST may be required however.
How long will it take to make my panels?

Once all of the needed information is received panels usually ship within 5-10 business days. The Christmas Holiday season is especially busy however and longer production times may occur. When an order is placed we will send a production time estimate. Rarely a color may be on backorder and longer lead times may result. If longer turn around times are expected we will notify you right away.

Do you make other things besides drapery panels?
While our focus is on providing the best silk drapery panels available, we can also make simple accent items such as pillow shams, throw pillows, table skirts or basic valances. Please Contact Us for information and price quotes.
Where are your draperies made?
All of our panels are custom made right here in Bucks County, PA, USA in our custom drapery workroom. We manufacture each panel from scratch to our customers’ exact specifications.
Do you sell trims?
No, we do not sell trims. We can apply a customer’s own trim to any of our panels for $8.00/yd. Also, we can use a coordinating silk material as an accent band.

Can you add trim to my panels?
Currently we do not stock any trims for our panels. We will attach a customer’s own trim to any of our panels for $8.00/yd or we can use a coordinating silk as an accent band.

Who makes your panels?
All of our panels are custom made right here in Bucks County, PA, USA in our custom drapery workroom. Our highly trained and experienced staff works individually seeing each panel through from cutting to sewing to packaging.

What is Flannel Interlining? What purpose does it serve?
Flannel Interlining (Western Heavy Flannel) is a soft, 100% cotton flannel material that is placed between the silk and the lining materials. Silks by their nature are fine, thin materials and the addition of Flannel Interlining adds body, fullness and softness to the draperies. We highly recommend it for a full, rich look. Interlining is optional and has an additional charge.
Do your panels block light?
Our panels with our standard lining will provide complete privacy but will not block a large amount of light. If you need to darken your room, or do not like the look of light filtering through the silk, we offer two linings that are designed to block light; Dim-Out and Black-Out lining. See next:
Do you offer light blocking linings?
Yes, we offer two linings specifically designed to filter sunlight.
Dim-Out Lining: Also known as Thermal Suede, this lining is used in place of regular lining and will block about 40% of visible light. The material is heavier than the other linings but still acceptably soft to use with silks. The fabric is 50% cotton, 50% polyester and is crease and soil resistant.
Black-Out Lining: As the name suggests, this lining is designed to block about 100% of visible light. The material is a bit heavier still than the Dim-Out. Some sacrifice will be made using this lining as your panels will hang in a less relaxed fashion. The material is 50% cotton, 50% polyester and is crease and soil resistant.
What type of linings do you use/offer?
All of our panels include our standard 100% cotton lining available in either white or ivory. We offer a premium Sateen lining as well as other light blocking linings. See our Linings Page for details.

Can I get color swatches - cuttings - of the materials?
Yes, we offer free cut samples of all our colors and linings.
